Welcome to my website!

I am a 31-year resident of Southern Nevada and with my husband, Alan ( a physician at the Veterans Administration's Northwest Clinic), have lived in Assembly District 1 for 11 years. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati and received a high school teaching certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania before arriving in Las Vegas. Among my accomplishments are...

    • Honored in the Congressional Record in Nevada, and nationally, as a tireless advocate for Veterans both in our community and in the legislature in Carson City.
    • Director of the Gobel Lowden Veterans Center & Museum
    • National Veterans Service Officer with the Veterans of the Vietnam War
    • First female lay clergy for the Chapel of Four Chaplains (Valley Forge, PA) and confirmed as Assistant Nevada State Chaplain
    • Past President of the Northwest Area Residents Association
    • Served on the City of Las Vegas 2020 Master Plan Steering Committee, the Community Development Recommending Board, and the Ward 6 Citizens Advisory Team

As a citizen and while not yet being in the legislature, I have worked with my brother, Ed Gobel, to author and secure passage of legislation in the areas of healthcare, Veterans benefits, protecting the rights of seniors, educating our children, preserving quality of life for the disabled, and all Nevadans. Over the years, others have given my brother and I the moniker ''Brother and Sister' and it has stuck as we have tirelessly fought together for our community.
